Centering Prayer
Centering Prayer is a gentle, silent method of consenting to God’s presence and healing action within us. Based on the rich Christian contemplative heritage, Centering Prayer offers us a way to be open to God. By taking time to “rest in God” each day, we open our awareness to the gift of God’s presence.
We offer two options for Centering Prayer:

Contemplative Outreach of Sacramento/Stockton Areas (COSSA) has joined with Mercy Center Auburn for a series of days of Centering Prayer, as well as a weekend retreat. .
- Mercy Center Auburn is offering our spacious and beautiful landscape and our contemplative environment of serenity and quiet for a weekly and monthly Centering Prayer Group. The schedule is as follows:
Every Wednesday
9:30 to 11:00am
Centering Prayer & Lectio Divina
(Facilitated by Barry Davis)4th Sunday of Each Month
2:00 to 5:00pm
2:00-2:30pm—Basic Instruction
2:30-5:00pm—Centering Prayer, Study, Sharing

All are welcome to join us for these days of Centering Prayer. There is no charge for these weekly or monthly prayer groups.
