"Red" Cheever
As always, Pathways will be grounded in the Holy Bible and the Christian Traditions. This year we will explore theTheology of Raimon Panikkar, who as a Catholic Priest has explored both Hinduism and Buddhism. Pathways will also read the classical Hindu Texts: Bhagavad Gita and The Upanishads.
The Christ is the mediation of Divinity and Humanity. Jesus of Nazareth is both fully God and fully human. How is the Christ revealed in Hinduism? How can the Holy Trinity be expressed anew at the beginning of the 21st Century? How can Christians— in cooperation with people of good will—create a better world? These and many other questions will be explored in Pathways this year.
