The Challenge Of Change
June 15-17, 2012
Facilitator: Margaret Silf
We are living in times of great flux and transition, in
which many of our old ‘certainties’ are breaking down.
Where is God in this experience; how can we best
navigate the changes we are facing? Can we trust that
breakdown can become breakthrough, not just for
ourselves, but for the whole human family?
During this retreat we will explore some aspects of both the chaos and the possibilities of new creation inherent in the changes we face in our lives and our world today, and discover some ways of nourishing an authentic spirituality of transition. We will also make a reflective journey through some aspects of the Passover journey of transition and transformation described in the Exodus narrative.
This retreat is based on her latest book “The Other Side of Chaos” (Loyola Press, Chicago and DLT, London, September 2011).
