GIFTS OF CASH

You may make your cash gift online on our website by using your credit or debit card, or mail your check made payable to Mercy Center Auburn. Consider a monthly gift!

CHARITABLE BEQUESTS

Include a simple bequest for the Sisters of Mercy - Mercy Center Auburn in your will after taking care of your family.  Consider a specific dollar amount, percentage of your final estate, or remainder of your estate after taking care of your loved ones.  

BENEFICIARY DESIGNATIONS

Do you have a life insurance policy or retirement account your family doesn’t need anymore? Consider making the Sisters of Mercy - Mercy Center Auburn the beneficiary.

IRA DISTRIBUTIONS

Are you required to take a minimum distribution from your IRA, but don’t need it or want it to affect your income?  You can donate your distribution directly to the Sisters of Mercy - Mercy Center Auburn and may save money on your taxes. 

STOCK GIFTS

Support Mercy Center Auburn by transferring stocks!  Donate appreciated stock and you may avoid paying capital gains tax.  Ask your broker to contact us for the stock transfer account information. 

DONOR-ADVISED FUNDS

Your donor-advised fund (DAF) benefit Mercy Center Auburn.  This is an easy and tax-advantageous way for you and your family to give to the charities you love.

Mercy Center Donation FAQs

  • Yes! You will notice that current retreat center trends show centers across the USA are closing due to financial strain. While we are blessed to welcome many guests, our annual revenue does not fully cover operating costs. To remain sustainable, we rely on the generosity of donors.

  • Your donation may be sent either to the Mercy Center Auburn’s office in Auburn, California, or to the Mission Advancement Office in Omaha, Nebraska. To help reduce administrative costs, the Sisters of Mercy’s Mission Advancement Office in Omaha processes our donations.

  • Please be assured that your donation directly supports Mercy Center Auburn, even when it is processed through our Mission Advancement Office in Omaha, NE. We are aware that some have heard otherwise; however, this is incorrect, and all funds designated for Mercy Center are faithfully directed to our mission and programs.

  • You may make your gift online on our website by using your credit or debit card or mail your check made payable to “Mercy Center Auburn” to 535 Sacramento St, Auburn, CA 95603.  You may also include Mercy Center Auburn in your bequests, beneficiary designations, IRA distributions, stock gifts and donor-advised funds.  Let our team can answer your questions and point you in the right direction.

  • Yes!  Donation envelopes are conveniently found at our retreat center and can be sent to your mailing address.
