Centering Prayer is a gentle, silent method of consenting to God’s presence and healing action within us. Based on rich Christian contemplative heritage, Centering Prayer offers us a way to be open to God. By taking time to “rest in God” each day, we open our awareness to the gift of God’s presence. Learn more about Centering Prayer
In this online offering, we sit together in silence for 30 minutes every Monday evening. During this sacred time, we open ourselves to a deeper reality, the Divine Spirit inside each one of us.
The Centering Prayer sit begins promptly at 6:30. Participants are invited to join the room a little earlier if you’d like, where soft contemplative music will bevplaying. If you choose, please bring a candle with you to the sit.
We begin each sit with a short contemplative reading. This reflection is followed by 20 minutes of Centering Prayer or silent meditation. The sit will end at 7:00 with a blessing or a short prayer.
