Making Sense of Menopause: Support for the Menopausal Transition

  • Mercy Center Auburn 535 Sacramento St Auburn, CA United States (map)

Supporting our patients—and ourselves—through the menopausal transition

Menopause is much more than just a hormonal transition. In the years leading up to and following menopause, women may also be experiencing profound shifts in their professional roles, relationships, priorities—even our sense of who we are and who we are called to be in the world.

This two-day retreat invites you into a wholistic exploration of menopause as an opportunity for positive change. It’s a chance to step back from the demands of caregiving and tend to your own body, mind, and spirit.

Topics include:

  • Balancing the essential elements of wholistic wellbeing

  • Preserving muscle and bone health

  • Managing stress and emotional eating

  • Addressing the root causes of midlife weight gain (and the role of GLP-1s)

  • Stepping into change with clarity and confidence

  • Fostering a new sense of joy and resilience

  • PLUS: Healthy delicious meals and time for rest in a beautiful, natural setting

Whether you are anticipating or navigating this transition yourself, or seeking to better serve patients as they go through midlife, we invite you to join us for a weekend of learning, reflection, and renewal. You’ll leave with practical tools and insights to support patients (and yourself) through menopause, reclaiming this rite of passage as a time of growth and empowerment.

Check-in and continental breakfast from 8:00 to 9:00 AM on Saturday. Program begins at 9:00 AM and concludes at 1:00 PM Sunday, after lunch.
